The Yvelines is like a vast outdoor play area dreamt up by all those who love getting around, spending without counting the cost, or breaking records. The Yvelines boasts 1000 km of signposted trails and paths for walking and cycling or, on the department’s six circular bridleways, for riding. The full range of outdoor leisure activities are on offer, including golf on any of the Yvelines’ 25 courses, countryside treks with a riding stable, or swimming and other water-based activities in one of the three leisure complexes. Indoor facilities for younger children are the ideal alternative for parents on rainy days. For the more adventurous, there are motor sports and flying. There can be nothing more tempting than getting out for the day in the Paris region’s green lung or enjoying a relaxing recreational weekend so close to Paris. |
