

The property of the Department of the Yvelines, this park lies in the protected environment of one of the Seine bends, the Boucle de Montesson, much of wich is taken up by flatlands that are home to market gardens.
By virtue of its ecological importancce it is listed as one of the Yvelines' environmentally sensitive areas.
The site is divided into two distinct zones :
- The Etang de l'Epinoche (18 ha), a former sand quarry, now partially filled in, was exploited during the building of the Paris-Rouen railway line. On this land, returned to nature and now classified as area of environmental significance, a variety of ecosystem have sprung up, including a lake and a reed bed in which stickleback live (the name of the lake mean stickeback).
The banks have been provided with facilities for visitors and a lookout enables them to see the many birds, including some rare and protected species.
- The Domaine de La Borde (2 ha). Now restored by the Department of the Yvelines, this property is home to the Visitor Centre, the Maison du Parc.
The park contains a rich and diverse collection of trees and perennial shrubs and serves as a arboretum.
